Our Settlement and Filing Notifications (Released Earlier this Year) are Providing Real Value to Clients

By Alex Watler, Product Manager, Financial Recovery Technologies

As we announced earlier this year, FRT released new automated “Settlement and Filing Notifications”– read our blog here.

With only two months in the market, our clients are benefiting from the enhancement. Just like everything else FRT provides to clients— the Automated Email Notifications provide our clients with a greater level of transparency into the process of Claims Filing.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING

“The new Global and Antitrust litigations in the portal are very informative and I am so glad you added those new features. The portal itself has been of tremendous help to us. We are able to identify which accounts have incurred losses and would probably receive funds from the litigation settlement. This fact alone has reduced most of the research we used to have to do when a check was received in the Bank’s nominee name.”

-Vice President at Top Wealth Management Firm

HOW YOU CAN BENEFIT

WITHOUT SETTLEMENT AND FILING NOTIFICATIONS:WITH FRT’S SETTLEMENT AND FILING NOTIFICATIONS:
Clients miss important details of cases they may be eligible for and have significant recoveries. Clients can manage their notification preferences and quickly access FRT’s Client Portal in a single click for more details on the case including case summary, case timeline, and damages information (if eligible).
Clients have to do their own research to gather information on the cases such as the opt-out, filing, and proof of claim deadlines.Settlement Notifications provide insight into any U.S. securities class action that settles with relevant details including opt-out deadline, settlement amount, proof of claim deadline and more.
Clients are unaware of exactly when claims are filed and submitted to the claims administrators on their behalf. Filing Notifications provide insight into what claims have been filed on your behalf and submitted to the claims administrators.

PRODUCT ROADMAP

With Settlement, Eligibility, and Filing Notifications currently accessible in the client portal, FRT has one more addition to complete the suite of class action notifications – Remittance. Our enhancements are based around major events like claim filing, settlement recovery, and other important points throughout the class action life-cycle.

The next and final addition in our series of automated email notifications will be Remittance. The full suite of class action notifications will include Settlement (released in April), Eligibility (released last year), Filing (release in April) and Remittance (coming soon) as we help make clients’ day-to-day more streamlined, intuitive, and easier.

Stay tuned for updates on these new notification types as we continue to enhance our best in class service!
