FRT launches technology improvements, including sophisticated loss calculation software
Financial Recovery Technologies LLC (FRT), the leader in securities class action settlement recovery, today announced a major software upgrade that will expand the services available to clients. The centerpiece of this latest advance is a sophisticated loss calculation system, made possible by expanding data processing capabilities. The new loss calculation system allows clients to examine their securities losses in a multitude of ways.
“While today FRT is known as the claims filing industry’s technology leader, we won’t stay that way if we don’t continue to invest,” said David Pineau, FRT’s Director of Information Technology. “Our clients are constantly challenging us to help them in different ways, and we like to solve these problems through scalable and reliable software application development.”
The new code release builds on the sophisticated Recognized Loss and matching algorithms long a staple of the FRT solution. Additionally, all of FRT’s analytical work can be made available to clients within FRT’s industry-leading client information portal.
Over the past year, FRT has made significant investments in its core technology platform, including infrastructure and security improvements, hardware advancements, and software capabilities in order to enhance its services to clients.
To be able to improve performance, scalability, and reliability, as well as provide better, more efficient service to customers, FRT relocated to the 100 Summer Street Data Center owned by The Markley Group, which will house new Hewlett Packard Next-Generation Servers that will power FRT operations for the next few years.
This equipment will be protected by new state of the art firewalls and numerous other security measures to ensure the highest level of data security for our clients. Additionally, the operation of all of this equipment will be monitored by an industry leading vendor in Security & Infrastructure Monitoring and Management.
