Analyst, Data Reconciliation

As an Analyst, Data Reconciliation on our Data Reconciliation team at FRT, you will be responsible for Securities Trading Data processing, Financial Transaction Data Loading, and Analysis and Remediation of Data Discrepancies. Your specific duties will include:

• Financial Transaction Data Analytics
  • Securities Trading Data Analysis
  • Data Cleaning & augmentation
  • Data mapping (Transaction Types, Account taxonomy, etc.)
  • Data Normalization and additional transformations
  • Calculation and Management of Import metrics and analysis
  • Reconcile Account Positions/Holdings against Trading History
  • Data Quality Analysis and Remediation
• Securities Class Action Analytics and Operational Support
  • Extract, transform, and load client data
  • Ad hoc analysis of Financial Transactions, Cost Accounting, and Loss calculations
  • Run Financial Reports
  • Produce Spreadsheets and analytical tools for use in business operation
• Other
  • Provide business requirements for development projects as needed
  • Test software functionality and performance during development projects as needed
  • Support corporate Data Security initiatives
  • Financial Data generation for new development efforts
  • Build Reusable SQL queries for Reporting and Analysis

Our minimum requirements are:

Education: Bachelor’s or higher degree with a major or concentration in Data Analytics, Actuarial Science, Statistics or related data analytics field.

Demonstrated (developed through academic research, coursework and/or prior work experience):

• Proficiency with SQL
• Fluency with regard to financial terms and concepts, including an understanding of financial instruments and/or the stock markets
