Former BNY Mellon Executive and Vice Chairman Joins Financial Recovery Technologies as Senior Advisor

James Palermo brings to FRT over 30 years of financial industry experience in the custodial banking space

Financial Recovery Technologies LLC (FRT) today has named James “Jim” Palermo to its advisory board. Jim has over 30 years’ experience in global financial services, most recently as Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Global Client Management at The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation. As CEO of Global Client Management, Jim was responsible for growth and enterprise-wide strategic partnership developments. Prior to that, Jim spent many years in the Asset Servicing and Global Securities divisions of BNY Mellon. Currently, Jim is a Founding Partner at Breton Capital Management, a special situation private equity investment management firm. Mr. Palermo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MBA from Babson College.
